What is a surrogate session and why would we do one? Occasionally, a client wants a session but is not able to have one. This could be because they are hospitalized or they have a serious mental illness for which they are medicated. It could also be a client who is too young – most practitioners are reluctant to do a session on someone under age 18. Also, there are rare occasions when a client just can’t connect. This could be due to an extremely analytical mind, or a fear of letting go.
In any of the above cases, we have the option of using a surrogate. This means using a third person and having them connect with the client’s higher self. We only do this with permission from both the client and the surrogate. This usually works really well with a surrogate who has had one or more sessions and can easily connect with their own higher self.
